I'll take a look at ferries later - I can imagine it might be cheaper sailing from Larne, and us meeting the staters there?
Edit: Got a return quote for two passengers for £158 from Rosslare to south wales - fairly cheap compared to others so far.

I'm suggesting driving through south wales as it's mostly A roads and some M'way and Google only thinks it would be about 3 and a half hour drive. It was return BTW

At least we're on home (ish for some) soil if anything goes wrong as far as Rosslare.

I'll have another look at the ferries soon for times and that. IIRC, these were in the middle of the day. We should try to arrange something cool to do for our stand too... I wonder do we need another thread for that as well.

I vote for the stand NO Shamrocks or leprechauns.
EDIT: I can't spell leprechauns.

^ lol i was thinking that too, we should make our stand that bit different. I don't really think its wise to use any flags or anything, but we should definitely have some typical irishness.
oh, and lets make this the organising thread for the stand too?

I'll probably be in the capri. I see what you mean about flags, but surely we can have a couple of ultra-secterian and extreme ones, really obscure ones that are rarely used, because they're so militant.

I'll hopefully bring the S-class, it'll depend on mojo. It probably needs the least work between it and the w115. If not, I'll be rocking the coup.
Stand wise - I'm kinda committed to another stand guys! Maybe I'll bring two cars....

We could fight anyone who comes near the stand and just say "meh, the fighting Irish"

i have travelled all the routes i think at this stage and by far i prefer the rosslare fishgaurd route although be warned there is feck all in fishgaurd even during the day never mind at night, the roads to the severn bridge arent all that bad either not all motorway but less stressing on a four speed box! with the m1 to the m50 and n11 to wexford there are only 2 bottle necks one is unfortunatly the m50 and the next is the end of the n11 at the beehive in wicklow clear the beehive before 5 or after 7 and your laughing down the arklow bypass and gorey by pass and the roads are back to single lane but pretty fast moving.I'm in wicklow don't think i will make the gathering but if anyone gets into trouble midway from north to rosslare only to happy to help were i can.sounds like a good run always better when you have a few motors goin.if any of you travel with motorsport groups there are some realy good savings on the ferries i will try dig out a name i used in wales before saved 200 euro on areturn trip.
