Oh and have the Revel one for good luck bloody ell, you lot are good yeah thats it, sold it to buy a 65 convertible back in the day, the new owner did all the work on it, it was red with chrome 8 spokes on it when I had it. Street Machine did say, it was the owner before the last one, that didnt deserve to own it, ;D that put me in the clear. the bloke I bought it off was a real joker. he had just wrapped it around a lamp post, I ended up having to put a few new panels on it and drove it around half finished for a while. I saw it on ebay last year, a dealer had it. thats was a nice car. i'll have to scan some pics of my old yanks, had scores of them when I lived in Hounslow. ...as for Revell, he was the master, that car was spotless, saw it a mustang owners club show and at hickstead, he drove it there both times. for me, one of the best english built street machine of all time.

These are great! I have most of these magazines but they are tucked in a corner of the loft and haven't been seen for years! Keep em coming! If you have time to do it! A request Gotwood, you don't happen to have the 'Sound Machine' Supplement from Street Machine (late 80's) that has a feature on Herman Plummers Granada by any chance ( the title was Hermans Monster Sounds ) I had it but lost it and would love to read it again ( as thats what got me into car audio! ) Cheers Found it !!! I dunno how to make it clearer though so that it's readable

This is not the greatest thread in the world , this is just a tribute lol ;D ( sorry , I couldn't resist ! It's nothing special though , just a bunch of badly scanned old magazines ) I 'm glad you like it though so I'll keep going till I runout of pics and yes , do something daft with the paint on the carlton ! ;D If only retro Cars mag could get a monthly motorvation thing going ! Who elso would like to see that ? Let's get a list of names going of people who'd love to see it happen

Well ive been home this weekend so thought id grab my dads scanner and do some of my old mags. I think they may be reposts from earlier, but they're my favourite motorvations: (That one with the calibra roof ) A really cool Yugo feature i liked: And anyone know what happened to this? I always wanted to buy this car, and still do if I'm honest. Looks amazing imo. Ive blocked out the phone number, but i can tell you its Street Machine July 1997, reg YGC 619G i think from the small photo... Love the granada rear lights, the wheels and perfect stance. Would have thought a V8 cortina would have been quite popular and well known back then but this is the only picture i have ever seen of it. Any more pics?

it was in one of the first few issues, 4th or 5th one, with the white Corvette on the cover shot at the London to Brighton cruise leaving from Battersea park, it must have been 30 odd years ago and i can remember it like it was yesterday, lol,
...pity i cant remember what i had for breakfast.
