don't think an MR2 is a coupe either, no back seats in em so i don't think they count, personally i think of coupes as having 4 seats (or 2+2) either being hardtop versions of a convertible OR being a 2 door version of a 4 door, but also having a different length/height roof. Of course i don't really care at all as long as it looks cool.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

Except MR2 was sold as a coupe (hard top) alongside the T-bar. Obviously, as with anything in life, peoples definition will vary. I was going on what the manufacturer named it. Some say that hatchbacks aren't coupe's either, but where does that leave motors such as the Starion, 944, Quattro etc.... As you say though....doesn't matter really because they all look cool

There are genuine definitions of Coupe, Saloon, Fastback etc depending on interior space, roofline etc. Can't remember the details though.
The C-Pillars on my S12 form a straight edge between roofline and the vertical edge of the taillights (and then bumper) making it a fastback.

Always loved those Lancia Monte Carlos. I used to have a majorette toy version when I was a kid which I ruined by trying to paint Martini decals on 'cos I couldn't get a model of a Delta.

Isuzu Piazza [/quote] Unsure whether this is a HBL or not, but it's bloody lovely. Have a picture of my rather less mint example (this is its good side): Also, I will add from the 70's. the Mitsubishi Celeste.

Suprised this one hasn't been mentioned, one of my personal favourites, Honda Integra Type-R, very tuneable, look good and available at a good price.
