Last night on my way home from my girlfriends driving down the same bit of road id been on twice earlier that day i entered a left - right- left right section and on the last right some one had dumped a load of ball bearing gravel and sand. Just hit it with the back and the car 180'd so fast there was nothing i could do and the back wheel hit a curb and got smashed . Ill put some pictures up when ive surveyed the damage but i urgently need one or more of these wheels as i have if anyone has one, or knows where i can get one please help I'm desperate!

Had a similar experience in my Mini, not funny when you enter a bend in the dry expecting grip and it's suddenly like being on ice.

This reminds me of a statement issued in a local newspaper this week from our local boys in blue with regard to Diesel powered Commercial vehicle drivers who over fill there diesel tanks. It sloshs out when they go round a roundabout and can make an otherwise dry or slightly damp road very greasy/slippery. This can be lethal for a motorcyclist!
I have friends in the hauladge trade and they to get annoyed with this as unfortuanately it gives all hauliers a bad name.

erm the other thing you guys should watch out for is.. silly-billies who want to learn to drift but instead of paying £60 to go learn in a safe environment, they have washer bottles full of diesel that squirt onto the back wheels....stupid dangerous. so you know tread carefully

Not nice - I had the same thing happen to me when I lived in Portugal. The place where I worked was at the top of a steep road up the side of a ravine. On my way home one evening I was getting a bit "enthusiastic" and hit gravel on a left-hander.... bearing in mind there were no barriers, just a massive plunge into the river below. I shat myself. Fortunately I stayed on the road! Hope you find a wheel soon mate

Get a copy of Motoring News, came out yesterday, plenty of Rally type places advertise in the back, someone will have something to get you going Failing that, Scrappy for a Golf/polo rim until you can get a replacement

thing is i really wouldnt be surprised if he comes on here tomorrow saying he found a wheel at the other end of the country so he ran and collected it. Then when fitting the new wheel found a chip under the arch so decided to spend the evening stripping down the car and then repainted it. And he will still be in bed for midnight i bet lol.

Cos as a biker having beed downed by diesel in the dry, that Really Fooking Dangerous and I think the police would like to know about it as it is deliberate Dom i don't know of any sites advocating it, someone off a drift forum i go on, saw some sierra's parked up with diesel curse word out all over the wheels, he had a check and saw what was going on and followed them to a roundabout, i think he ended up kerbing a wheel cos the roundabout was far too slippy to even drive on, said that in first even by letting the clutch out without throttle the wheels would slither and slide... it makes you wonder what these morons have inplace of a brain.

Well spent the day taking all the rear axle links and panhard rod off the car and checking everything is still straight and checking the wheel geometry and its all straight and fine, luckily its just the wheel thats shagged! the wheels say 100+ made in Britain 13*6 ET13 If that helps figure out what they are? I was told when i bought them they were Compomotive CX?
