we had a local Skoda meeting...3 cars, not bad. 2x rapids, 1x cabrio we had 100mph out of the red one in 4th...altho, slightly out due to the bigger wheels...still fun tho!

Larger wheels will make the speedo read slow!

I thought that an increase in the rolling radius would cause the speedo to over-read. Maybe I'm wrong.

although if you are running lower profile tyres it may cancel out some/all the effect of the larger wheels .....

we had 100mph out of the red one in 4th...altho, slightly out due to the bigger wheels...still fun tho! how very irresponsible..... ....why was it not put into 5th and pushed to its limits? you can get the needle to 125mph if you try hard enough ;D

I have to say, and this is only my opinion of course, that I've never seen a Skoda that wouldn't look better without a kit.

I agree for the main but I did always like the look of the group B estelles. ***CAUTION THIS PICTURE SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED BY SKODA NORMAN AS COULD CAUSE YOGHURT SPILLAGE*** I guess your mam will have to clean your sheets now ;D

that is a nice pic, never seen that one before! mucho-like! looking at it, it looks like one of the cars they entered into touring cars...i know skoda used the Nunbergring 24hr race as a test for new engines, etc...and they did a 130 Rapid there for a few years and won quite a few times, and the car was GORGEOUS!!!!!

OK, so that saloon racer is an exception...but that yellow one says a lot for the no-kit arguement too! I'm offering this: Early front...coffin tailights...no kit. Although I preferred it with a black grille:
