Following on from this thread, I think we should have a Google Streetview Spot thread. Here's the rules: 1. No politics. We're not discussing whether Streetview is an invasion of privacy or not...it's there and we can use it to spot cars, so we will. This thread will be locked or posts will be deleted if this turns into negative discussion about Streetview. 2. Hide/obscure addresses. 3. Cars please. Found a bloke weeing up a lamp post? Post it on Facebook or something. 3. Random is best...pick a town (the less local the better - Yokohama is nice!) and find some retro action. 4. Screen grab technique: hold ctrl+print scrn to take a screen grab and then open a graphics program (MS Paint works!) and paste it in. Trim accordingly then save, host 'n' post. Here's some I prepared earlier: Random spot...two clicks up from my 'landing point' and I got a double. Triumph 2500 under cover and a Carlton wagon: Not random at all...my car. Japanese spots (not random...I went to known postcodes!) Off you go then chaps...

I'll pearoast this in here then... the Ferrari I found lurking a few doors down from my house. ;D I also enjoy how the strategically positioned leaves make the bistro on the left look like it's called 'The Pants'.

Not particularly random, but a few more from my neck of the woods. Pretty sure that's an Alfa Montreal in the showroom. Ooh, there's an Integrale in there!

I found this Corona in LA some time back: Address is visible but I'll eat my hat if it's still there, given that the bonnet is popped, all the windows are down and it is in an absolutely terrifying part of town.

Great road name too! Still in Cali - A couple of Chevy pickups and a 'Stang on wires: Fastback! Relatively local to me...ever get the feeling you're losing the toy game?

In a random LA street, not far from the Corona, is this a US-spec Nissan Bluebird?

Toy: 2001 Porsche Boxster S - almost retro! Daily: Modern BMW 435i - less exciting but quick!

Not really random this one. Looked up the address for the test drive and got a sneak peek at the car.

Ah good Idea Mr.rmad. Here is something I found in The Netherlands, I'm not sure what it but I know there is a market for obscure (to folk in EU) bland American cars in that part of the world.

in the netherlands, only the big towns (and the surrounding small towns) are online. But I managed to find these (allthough I cheated a little bit, I knew exactly where they where ;D) at first, RR member jonkheer, who brought his Blue E30 to RR07 and his orange 1502 to RR08: and around the block: ;D

Yay! I typed in an LA district and landed here: (That's angle adjusted but I could see the cars from my 'landing' position) No prizes for guessing which area in CA this is!

Cheers!, Doesn't look quite as sporty as the skyline next to it although I bet it's rarer!

All the way from Naples Italy (selected by clicking and dragging the little yellow fella on Italy!) Some kind of Fiat Panda based commercial, with plastic double doors on the back:
