I have little idea at this point of exactly what will convey me to Sparkford, but right now my only roadworthy machine of suitable age is my trusty 1975 Honda 400/4. Will I be alone on two wheels or will a veritable phalanx of wannabe-bosozoku turn up alongside me in a misty haze of revs, oil smoke and rattling camchains? And once there, what's the view of our glorious leaders? Is a bike area for machines of suitable retro-ness to much to ask for or will we be banished to the dusty hell of the moderns car park? And will an MOT and a bike licence secure us immortality on the sprint track or are we destined never to show a clean set of pipes to our slower car-driving competition? The air-conditioned serenity of my Polo could yet prove irresistible.

David and i are yet to discuss bikes. I have my opinion, I'm sure he has his - we are yet to talk and make a decision.
I feel quite safe in saying that bikes WILL NOT be going round the sprint track though.

I feel quite safe in saying that bikes WILL NOT be going round the sprint track though. Fair enough, insurance, liability etc I'm guessing. Handy for us motorcyclists, we get to say "Well I woulda been faster than you if only they'd let us on the track to beat you... "

I've got a dawes kingpin folder of a venerable vintage which has TWO out of THREE of it's sturmey archer gears available for use.
Rockin'
I will happily race anyone else with a similarly clapped out old bike - ideally some portion of it must be held on with paperclips.
Lemon gin probably a plus.
