There is one of those in my new unit. White with LOTS of rust & rot!
Si (Black8driver) and I were looking over it only a couple of hours ago and discussing how few of them you see anymore.
I'll have a look and see if I have a pic of it somewhere....

Supras were known for their straightline speed. Braking and turning were not their forte's. Although they got better at turning as the line matured. Never really solved the braking. The late Supras were bloody heavy beasts, like lorry heavy.
Just another random thought, had a friend with a convertible Mk2 Sillyca. Kind of an odd-looking aftermarket sort of chop job. But people loved them, commanded a premium over the coupe since the factory only offered a T-top version.

There is one of those in my new unit. White with LOTS of rust & rot!... Yup. They suffered badly with it I had one quite a few years ago now and the back arches, tailgate lip and various other areas were pretty much missing. Apart from the soggy handling (knackered rear shocks) it drove like a dream, never missed a beat and went like stink!

Dodge Charger? Shame about your taste in girls, mate. I don't judge them on their IQs.

The pictures are MA46 Celica Supras, but the advert is a RA42 Celica. The diffrence is the 6 cylinder engine in the Supra, rather than the 4 in the Celica. The nose is a few inches longer to accomodate the 6 and there are lots more toys and bits to play with. The MA46 was JDM and US only, but there are a handful in Europe, mostly ex US forces. The UK got RA40 Celicas in ST, (base model 2litre 4) XT, (better trim, auto option) and GT, (twin cam 4, LSD etc, ultra rare). The mechanicals last for ever, but if you can find a decent GT, a standard car will whizz you to 60 sub 9 seconds, if all is well. An excellent Q car. ;D

Don't be hatin'! Black (bit satin maybe?), rusty bonnet, yellow-ish lights (illegal in germany? dunno), steelies of the '09 Camaro V6, whitewalls etc* ... because once I'm through with me Julie I'm sure it's time for something modern. I'm not fed up with the Diva yet (hooge carbs, lumpy cams, you name it), but moderns are becoming more and more attractive to me recently. ... and giving a futuristic-looking brand new car the treamtent could become interesting IMO. I'll start a thread about this a soon as I - found some pics of moderns modified in such way - made a P-chop of what my Cruze would look like

Mebbe too old to be retro but... I've always wanted one, and am secretly (and VERY slowly : saving for one. Helped a fellow with a 3.5litre blower a few years back while at Halfords and he took me out for a spin at lunch. I WANT ONE! Beating boy racers off the line and a 75 year old car was ace ;D

Loads of stuff take my fancy but at full capacity nowt is really get a look in.
If anything, summat tough and offroadable; 80's Chevy truck, Baja bug etc

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Or one! ;D The RA28 LB was definitely crafted with the fastback 'Stang in it's designers mind but I'd say the others are merely representative of their contemporary designs. In the meantime...I quite fancy a Citroen Berlingo at the moment.
