Some of you know I build these....... Wanted a different type of front susp on my latest one ,so.... I used some scrap aly,and 4 scrap pulleys ........ Machined up some parts.........7 hours later.......... Assembled them with threaded rod in centre to check fit......nearly there........

Wow, these go-karts look amazing! ;D Not so sure on their cornering with such a high centre of gravity, but it's surely worth the sacrifice in order to make them look that awesome. Like little T-buckets, all cartoon styled and with exactly the perfect rake. Have you got a build thread for these? I would absolutely love to teach myself to weld properly and build something like that!
Also, while I'm sure the new shocks will be good, I love the old beam-axle suspension for pure aesthetic reasons, makes them look even more like miniature hot-rods. Keep up the good work, whatever you do with them.

What that man said, I'd love to see a full build thread for one of these little beauties, they look great fun and would give me somethng to do with that 4hp Briggs and Stratton bouncy castle blower I've had in the garage since I was 15 and made a very poor quality hovercraft with it.

lol! Not a build thread as such ,but have a look on my website for pics of bits. You'll have to delve around a bit! Will try to get some pics on here of the latest chassis in progress to give you some ideas! Waveman ,yes,CofG is high ,but they're not meant to be for blasting about ,just blatting around . Yes they are meant to look cartoony! Glad you like them!

Quality little wagons you've made there, reminded me of this i saw in Belgium a few years back, had a wooden wheelie bar on the back too. Not quite the same but believe it or not this also had a petrol motor fitted to it

Very nice! I'm glad to see the beam axle retained, I was worried for a minute there that you might be doing wishbones!
Just out of interest, why are the upper shock mounts cantilevered out from the chassis? Just for looks? It seems to me that I would want a little "strut brace" across the top to stop them bending inwards. Good work anyway!
