As an alternative to an Alfa , how about a Lancia? A Dedra or a Thema , the 2 litre turbos were quicker than the Sierra Cosworths

Thats the same size as a 164 and the Saab 9000 isn't it?
I was hoping to get a touch smaller.
Thats why I was thinking about a 75 or an early narrow body 155.
Although if I was going bigger car again (although still smaller than the 900) I would probably get a 9000, with either a 2.3 N/A or 2.3 LPT engine and leather/Aircon (however I wouldn't turn down a Carlsson or Aero as they have higher gearing and give better economy).
75, older styling, but RWD, and LSD on most I've heard of, with a choice 2.0 Twin Spark, 2.5 and 3.0 V6. Or 155 8v More modern (classy but not dated) styling but FWD, choice of 1.8 or 2.0 or V6 (Cloverleaf) with a Silverstone option on the 4 pots..
Or None Alfa. Merc 190E 2.5 MK2 MR2 (early one) MGB GT (with some work on it) Audi 90 Quattro. Porker 924.
So many cars so little room (and time, money, and GFs Patience).

The Thema is a based on the 9000/164 floorplan but the Dedra is a smaller with the famous Fiat twincam engine. for the ultimate Q car , they made a Integrale version in LHD only though with the Delta's 8V engine Basically an Alfa 155 Q4 in different clothes.

I know a guy with a Dedra Turbo, so good he bought 2 more for spares.
So he probably has the dedra turbo market sown up for now.
TBH, I pretty much have my mind set on as later a 2.0 TS 75 as I can find. A V6 would be wonderful, but I couldn't afford to run it, an LE would be fantastic, but I'm unlikely to get one for banger money, and a Turbo is going to cost, and be very pricey in reapir labour as they are a tad more complicated.
