Well i´ll be picking up our new project next week and i´m trying to get a bit clued up on wheels for the Jag. It´s running a set of Wolfrace alloys at the moment but i´m not too sure if I like them or not... Certainly different and I can´t remember seeing them on A Jag/ Daimler before... Apparently they are 4x4,75" which is 5 x 120,6 in real money....would that mean i´ll be able to get away with BMW wheels? Mark (nightmares) suggested making use of the Chevy fitment and fit these but i´m not sure whether they´ll work or not...what do you guys think? Will modern Jag wheels fit? I rather fancy slamming it on some of these... or maybe something more modern? I must admit i´m partial to a bit of "dish" ;D cheers, Dave

The X300 XJR wheels will be the same PCD, but I think the centre bore may be slightly different, if I remember correctly.

Not sure if they´ll fit but they cost twice as much as the car is going to cost so that won´t be happening......might band some original steels if I can´t get any affordable alloys! ;D

Oooohh... The wheels on the green "Avengers" car are wide versions of the Kent Avon alloy wheel found on the series 2 and series 3 XJ12's, and they are mega rare and about 12 inches wide. The ones on the Broadspeed car with the gold centres are slightly easier to get hold of but the last set I saw were £400 per wheel. The rears are 14 inch wide!! I like this... The wheels are off a supercharged XJR and the front indicators have been modified to accept clear lenses from a series 1 US spec E-type. Regards Ric

I´m trying to find some pics of old Jags on non original rims - but my google foo is weak tonight! Even if i'm right, I don't think its insurmountable. Would just need a spacer ring making if they are too big for the car (aftermarket wheels can be like that anyway, and are sometimes just plastic). Or would just need the wheels machining out to the right size if they are too small. Sean

Standard Daimler steels look good as they are chromed , thats if you can find a set , otherwise how about chrome smoothies , easy to get in chev pattern .
