1990(H) Saab 900i 16V - £300 - Tyneside

Anyone know how easy these are to lower? Not sure how the drivetrain is set out on these.

Its a fairly simple job to add lowered springs; just remember to add som rollbars - u can get them from the T16S (check uksaabs.com or breakers). Adding KONI shocks will improve handling A LOT! (Right now they are cheap from the US). The 2dr shell is the stiffest shell - and the cars are quite easy to work on. Its kind of a Swedish Lada

Well, not suprisingly, they are quite underrated cars U got to have had one to understand... So grab a ourself a bargin and treat it well Its worth it - the standard Saab 900 are very bulletprooff designed BUT they do have some rust traps to be aware off. The Saab 900 is a bit "slow" for city driving - slow startup speed (Kind of a swedish cruiser) but when its gets up to speed it pulls REALLY well. Get it out on the freeway or open road and enjoy! And a VERY pratical car - even in a two door.
The 2dr are getting quite rare and is often the prefered "sleeper" and Rallycar in Sweden.
