Hallo Mate,
No I did not build one, ended up distracted etc.
Like the weirdness of yours though, well done.
Hope it makes it to RRG 09.

ahhhh...weirdness....now that's the word i was looking for.... ;D
not drivin a retro any more and that thing would need a luton box van to take anywhere...lol
if i'm free i could trundle along to rr 09 and whet the retro appetite......
could even knock up a double decker kids bike that would fit in the boot.....
now there's an idea...lol

Awesome! I love that. Buy a retro van and bring it ..on a COMPLETE aside: I do believe Grizz's name triggered a "Gay Bear Dating" banner to appear up top... O.o

I like the way you've made it hexagonal, it hangs together much better than most tallbikes.

If any of you folk have met me before, you'll understand why that hi-cycle REALLY appeals to my tastes!! It's as mad as a bag of kittens and all the better for it Now I think about it, our local tip has always got a few mountain bikes in. I know what I'm doing this winter!! Ian

cheers for the comments chaps... i had two mtb's to hand plus two frames and i used them all in making it cos i extended it for more stability compared to a hicycle which is just one frame on top of t'other... my inspiration was the story of two guys who cycled around the coastline of the uk on a tallbike each for charidee which took 'em 5 months.... check out "tallbike tour of britain", it makes for some good readin...
