The engine in the Anglia is a Cosworth.
Rebuilding it as it needed a rebore and valve guides,
Got all the bits back. just need to find a few hours to bolt it together/

Cheers Ed.
The anglia is nippy, 0-60 was timed at 5.03 secs. not bad for an auto.
The Lotus engine was found left in an empty warehouse after the company who made AC Cobras, left and went to malta
I bought it cheap not knowing the condition and sure enough it needed loads of new parts, valves replacing etc.
Have had it running so just hope i have not messed the wirring up whilst fitting it into the car.

Back on it again after 9 months. Infilling the bulkhead around the wires, tubes, hoses, cables etc has been a right pain to the point where i was going to leave the intercooler out. but had a go tonight and have made some templates to start to infill the holes, whilst still leaving access to connect the intercooler pipes and thread the loom through The front of the opening will be blanked off by the intercooler itself

been in the garage this afternoon made this throttle linkage, only light tin as a template but it works It has to pull the throttle cable and gearbox kickdown cable at right angles to the pedal movement, so they don't poke through the bulkhead once I sus out the right cable to link to the engine I can make the piece in stronger steel

offered a couple more hoses up, There is the 75mm convoluted hose to the heater vent in the dash and the flow and return to the chargecooler. Will have to get a longer pipe for the drivers air vent as it just catches the wiper arm mechanism and replace the rubber with silicone as i need a bit more flexibility in most of the pipes Getting the linkage and cable from the column change will be fun

Column change FTW Doesn't look like you've got a lot of space to play with though, is the whole thing going in or just a modified top section and some more fabrication cleverness?
