I hve a old sharp blaster with detatchable speakers that is sitting unused. as it has no power going to it. ive changed the fuse and even used the lead off my working sharp and nothing, anyone know what it could be? or how it might be repairable? I'm gunna get sum pics up today

Could be many things.
It doesnt power up at all no?
Open it up and have a look. It may have an internal fuse.
It may have a dodgy connection on the power socket.
It may have popped a capacitor.
Only way to tell is to open it up and start poking a multi meter about.

Hmmm defo dead. it popped an internal fuse, so i replaced that and that popped then the transformer started smoking haha hmmmm ahh well ill stick with my 8989 and the phillips i just picked up this one can go on the scrap pile this is it under the tube. sorry bout the curse word pic . i would give ya a better one but the digicam died

i spotted a blaster in our local junk shop yesterday.. looks like its got a b+w telly built into it as well (quite large)
