Thinking of building a pretty basic, 1950's style soapbox.
unsure about steering though.
2 options, either proper steering, controlled by a drop arm of the colum or with cables, or, old school, T of planks so the front axle has a pivot in the center (is this bogey steering?)

What to go for.....
If i do 'normal' steering, whats the easiest way to make the hubs/spindles?
I'm sure a few of you must have built soapboxes
