no, no, not the people we used to be, but this Owned by several mates as I recall, often seen on eBay quite regularly after the last one sold it. I enjoyed driving it. Here's a pic of one which is moulding away local to me as well as an NSU

I bid for it a couple of times on the Bay but always lost out.
Last time it came up it was sans MoT and in need of weldings, around the rear suspension I think which is usually the kiss of death for old Renners.
WLTM an R4 for summer fun. Pack up a picnic, hurl the kids in and trundle off to the seaside for a long lazy day on the beach. Perfect.

I've never seen the green one before, but I do have a soft spot for these old things, although I'm not too sure if'd follow it through and own one. Well, I would....but it'd have to be UP's old chopped 4. Hmmmm.

...in need of weldings, around the rear suspension I think which is usually the kiss of death for old Renners. Which is a pity really, as they are not that hard to repair. Just a bit of box with three holes for the rear swing-arm. I had to do one side on the chopped car above ;D Incidentally, the chopped 4 does still exist. It's in a garage in Bristol, with nothing more done to it. One day I hope he'll let me buy it back!

I suspect that NSU will rot into the floor rather than get sold. Its been there 10+ years and "everybody" knows about it. I think a few folks have tried to acquire it in the past.

Owner gonna restore it one day?... No comment, I'm not better with mine. It's still residing on a farm, outside, somehwere in Wells. I really should think about doing something with it.... Sorry, blatant thread hi-jack. Erm.... AH! I know... So, AK, why the interest in the green beast?

your NSU is too cool to be dying in a yard.
The green beast came to mind as I found the photos of it while looking for something else.

It was. I think he'd bought it off Browny and he sold it to my mate Steve who ran it for a bit.

That green one looks quite cool Incidently I'm helping reapermcs pick up an R4 tomorrow. Guy drove it up from the south of France (no rust ;D) a few months back but had a bump and busted the suspension one side. [Thread hijack] Anyone got any spares? [Thread hijack]
