Early front drive Tercel Mid to late Plymouth Belvedere, rare but they turn out beautiful.

Well, my dad's Pug 403 had a worked motor and wide wheels when he finished with it, and I wouldn't do any more.
I would probably leave teh Sunbeam Alpine standard.
His HR HOlden had a fully worked motor that idled at 1500rpm but I would put a Commodore 3.8 supercharged V6, Getrag 5 seed box, Commodore IRS, leather interior with a Jaguar XJ6 dahs ( they fit easily) but with a HOlden FB speedo ( strip speedo with round face. Cool!).
His FJ HOlden had a 186S motor, Saginaw gearbox, Monaro front suspension and diff etc. I would fit a rack and pinion kit to it though.
The Morris 1100 I would fit a Pug 205 GTi power unit and suspension and just run minilites. Sleeper!
The Hilman Hunter either a Zetec and FOrd 5 speed or a Pug 405 Mi16 motor. and Nissan 5 speed.
The Renault 10 a R12 1.4 motor and a Fuego 5 speed transaxle.
The R16TS standard.
The early Pug 504 standard.
The late Pug 504 I would fit a 406 3.0 V6, a BA 10/5 gearbox, 505 GTi LSD, 505 GTi suspension and 15" wheels, and 604 vented discs.
The Volvo 164E a Volvo S80 T6 turbo twin cam motor, M90H 5 speed and that is about it.
I wouldn't bother with the vans he has had since, apart fromthe Transit which we have already heavily modified.

Carnut Like the sound of the 504 with the 406 V6. The 505/604 GTi wheel are lovely too. Peugeot have an honourable history of fitting lovely wheels don't you think. I love the parts interchangability too. A friend of mine has just blown £3000 restoring an Azure Blue 504 which will be with my ZS at the French Car show next Saturday. Expect plenty of pictures, but NOT of bad boy AX's etc.

My 604 has the 14" Dunlop alloys. The gold coloured ones. They are lovely but maybe the 390mm TRX as fitted to Stis and the otherwise identical but 15" ones fitted to GTis are nicer. I also like 405 Mi16 and 205 GTi wheels.
There are a few people here ding modified 504s. There are a few with Rover V8s, and at least one with a 4.4 litre Leyland P76 V8. There is one with a Nissan SR20 turbo from a Sylvia. There is at least one witha turbo Mazda 13B rotary. There is one with a Mi16 motor. There are heaps here with the 604/Volvo/Renault/DeLorean etc V6.
We never got V6 505s here, and all our 604s were automatic, so fitting a V6 with a manual box is tricky. You can use the LHD bellhousing but the starter fouls the power steering rack so you have to use a manual rack or pay big bucks for an imported RHD bellhousing. Flywheels are also hard to find, as most Volvo 264s were auto here too. If you find a manual one you can pinch the flywheel and pressure plate and run 505 GTi clutch plate. You need a BA 10/5 box and the aforementioned bellhousing. It gets expensive so most people fit a 604 auto instead which is sad.

By the way, for parts interchangebility, the steering flector is the same from 203, 403, 404, 504, 505, and 604. The ball swivel on the front of the torque tube is the same from 203 to 404 then on 504 and 505 wagons. Not bad eh?
