For this kind of money, the new ones are a design disgrace as far as I'm concerned. Being involved in car design I can identify most of the parts and refer them to popular mass produced cars. It's like a puddle of randomly bought in spare parts bolted to a bodyshell with no effort at all to conceil their true identity. Many kit cars do a much better job! I'd rather buy a new Roller for that money (the boxy one) and still have some cash left to fit wide 14inch rims! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Hmm, I must say, if it was a straight choice between one of those R-R pahntoms and a Bristol it would be difficult to not get the R-R..... do they really cost about the same?

before the factory moved to London they were based in Bristol (no surprise there) Are you sure about that? I think they still build 'em in Bristol, and that their sales operation in in London. My mistake, i was under the impression that they had moved the build to London...... Thanks for correcting
