Except that it ain't DTM. It's Sports Car Club of America TransAm, entered by Group 44, Bob Tullius' old outfit. Cracking photos! This one is brilliant.

That ain't committed, Phil! ;D That's an off, to be followed by a loud bang into the outside Armco! We're right proud of our lil' SCCA history here. It's different than bloody DTM. I didn't title the thread, mate. ;D You know of the Withers of Winsford? Tried to get in contact with him for years, never did. Norm This is proper committed !!!

I hope he did too, mate. Most sincerely. The Winsford Withers was a legendary Ford parts outfit, who later did some japper car stuff too.

Sweet thread. Not thought about DTM for ages, used to love it. Well, the cars - never was able to watch any of it somehow. Ive meant to track down some season-review DVDs for years. Think i'll go and find some now. Used to have a yellow DTM merc and a red Alfa scalextric cars. Werent made by Scalextric tho, were someone else. Were a bit more expensive, but faster, and much better quality. ;D That was the Alfa ^ The Merc looked like that ^ but was yellowy orange. Cant remember the sponsors EDIT - just watched the vid linked to in the first post and it was in there! Promarkt sponsored one. Spins out and stuff 3/4 way through the vid. Cheers! Brings back lots of memories of messing about in the loft about 10 years ago. ;D

I loved watching the DTM/ITCC. Went to Donington in 1995 and Silverstone in 1996 to see them all. Got a few videos of the early nineties races, and a few of the ITCC when ITV showed it! Got loads of small scale models too 1/87 + 1/64 Being a JJ Lehto fan when he got a drive in the series in 1995 it was the silver lining of his F1 demise… Even Schuey had a go…
