Am getting bored of this car now, had it for about 8 months   Good bits:It's a pre-facelift GT5E not a pre-facelift quadlamp GT5SHas 6 months t&t 71k on the clock (Genuine with mots to back it up) Completely standard bar the leather seats from a scirocco. I've done, full service and cam belt in last 2k Sounds awesome 25-35mpg (depending on lead foot) Flat out will do about 122mph (on a private road  ) Working electric windows Working sunroof Bad bits:Tiny bit of surface rust on edge of rear arch (drivers side) Rear light has a small crack Tennis ball shaped dent under rear bumper Drivers side door has some rust along the bottom, but it's solid and been sealed Bonnet has been resprayed and is slightly brighter than rest (only noticeable at twilight) Spare is on car and flat is in boot Open to swap for reliable daily, can be diesel, must be retro, money your way or mine is necessary. Thats nice  Is it a manual or Auto? Thinking about it but Shropshire to Kent is a fair distance. This is one of the only things I would swap my MK2 Escort for. Mmmmmm  Shaun |

isn't that a Quad headlamp GT5S and not a GT5E, but in either way pre-facelift in general terms or on at least two other forums is smaller bumper i will amend the original post though to make sure not one is further confused between a pre-headlamp change and pre-facelift or indeed the models |

iirc the only change that early was the headlights (i had a early one) then much more changes on te proper facelift.
how do you feel about e30s moomyboy? i fancy another oodi koop.
