I didn't buy this very long ago but unfortunately having to give in to practicality. I have had a change of role at work which now means I have to travel 100 miles a day :-(
Hence I need something a touch more economical!

This is a lovely original old 928S and comes with plenty of history, old mots, spare keys etc. Included is also a brand new all weather tailored cover. It has a private plate, and almost 6 months tax and 11 months MOT. I will regret selling her but I cannot justify keeping the car at the moment.
Please call me for full details but for now here is a brief summary of all aspects of the car:
Engine/mechanicals. This 928 is a great runner with good oil pressure, a nice steady temperature gauge and a strong engine/gearbox (4spd auto). It doesn't smoke and has no oil leaks. The brakes are typical "S" (if you know your 928s) and stop the car straight and safe but are not overly sharp. The suspension is in good condition and the car is nice and tight on the road. This car is a reliable everyday runner that loves to be driven!
Interior. The interior is 84 spec brown half leather with Porsche emblem fabric centers. There is little to no wear on the seats and the carpets/dash/headlining is also very tidy. The boot carpet is currently missing however and has been replaced by a brown carpet remnant. Overall it is nice and period and very presentable.
Electrics. Most of the electrics are working on this car, with the exception of the AC. All other functions of the heater are fine however. Both electric windows go up and down, the central locking works and the sunroof works although has an intermittent switch. A replacement is included in the sale. Both electric seats work perfectly. All aspects of the instrument cluster are working. The car also benefits from a Clarion mp3/cd player and a remote central locking alarm.
Bodywork. This is where the car is slightly let down in my opinion. The colour is even all over and is nice and rich, especially after a polish. However, it has obviously had some paintwork in the past with bad preparation as there is slight evidence of overspray on the window rubbers and the indicator repeater rubbers. This is a shame because the quality of paint job is very good. A good detailer could probably remove it or the best solution, a new set of rubbers would transform the overall appearance of the car! Having said that, it still looks very nice and the overspray is not noticeable without close inspection. There is no paint reaction, lacquer peel or corrosion anywhere on the car.
Wheels/tyres. The wheels are the S2 spec drain cover type forged 16" alloy and are in good condition. They can be polished to a mirror finish if desired but I haven't bothered. The tyres are also good although the rears only have around 1000-2000 miles left in them tread wise. Space saver spare and compressor are included but have never been used.
I am a 928 enthusiast and have owned several so I know how they should feel and what to look out for. For this reason I have nothing to hide about the car and will happily welcome any inspections or phonecalls! I know my 928s and this is a fantastic opportunity into 928 ownership at the asking price.
The car is a perfectly driveable everyday car or could be a potential show winner with a little care and attention.
I am open to part exchange type offers.
