;D
Well after digging out some diecasts earlier to post in the scale model post. I came accross this 1955 cadillac eldorado which has seen many better days! So I decided sod it i got nowt better to do on new years day....
No mirrors, Bonet badge broke, Dusty, windscreen was broken away from the car just placed on for the photo. Sooooooo
I took it apart, Forgetting to remember how it goes back together But i'll worry about that later!
Of course u always have to Lower a car.... Hacksaw and craft knife to hand off i went until i found my self cutting the tops out of the internal arches to get the wheels in, Front was harder and not as low because i kept the steering. All 4 wheels still turn although there are a few rubige issues on the rear ;D BUT I'm still tempted to go the whole hog and slam it on it's bumpers and forget worrying about the wheels turning!
Normal:
rear down:
Front down later.... PAINT, Nitromors FTW!
Primer:
hmmmmm.... Matt black?
And by this point i'd figured out how to lower the front too:
Dunno how pics will turn out cause my cam is basic but chopping at the steering to lower front:
erh..... Put it back together with some Polly cement ;D
well that's my afternoons work so far....
Now cause it's still tatty as in chrome and busted parts I'm tempted to go rat rod, Might make the white walls red walls, Go for the fake rust, really ruff the chrome up, tatty interior. Or just leave it as it is IDK aint decided what do u think?
