I really did not want to get involved but after what I have read. Only about 1% of banger racing people are curse word and rest of them brought cars in good,legal way. I am a racer myself, I race new rubbish but sometime something old and rotten and at the moment, I have a 1977 bmw 735 and ive offered spares on HERE, not a single taker.  , Many people find their cars by seeing they being laid up so we just knock on them, if they say no, fair enough and we don't go back and steal them. That was my IMO. |

But I do agree with you it does seem that you were not trying to wind people up (although some of your posts in the For Sale section have been raised to me to be checked out). If you could try and space out your comments a bit it would make them more readable, and make sure people don't ignore what you write because they can't be bothered to read it. As for this thread, its not really RR material, so I'll probably lock it at some point tomorrow. I think we've established that we don't really mind banger racing,.. we are a pragmatic bunch,.. but we'd probably rather keep everything on the road  |

Got to say this is one of THE most laid back forums out there, this thread has lasted (in a fairly freindly manor) longer than it would on most sites  I think that says a lot about the peeps on here, lets face it, it was allways heading for the locked bin from the start but i've seen many the same thread last 1 or 2 pages before it reached that point |
