Right,
Seeing as the entire world is wibblepoo, and I have no money, and, well, and a lot of ranting about generally being in a wibblepoo situation, I have to sell the only thing that is worth anything; my tools.
Now, I'm not happy about this, at all. But I'm skinter than a skint thing who's skint, so I have to generate funds.
I'm selling my Halfords top-box. It's full to the brim with sockets and ratchets (Halfords pro), every set of plyers you could need, hammers, screwdrivers, spring compressers, cables, connectors, screws, drill bits, long reach magnetic wand, long reach grabber, trim puller, clamps, files, mole grips, adjustable spanners, all sorts.
Basically, I'f you don't have a tool kit, this is the perfect starter for you. I also have axle stands too and various other bits and bobs.
The top-box is, well, stickered and painted shall we say, and the bottm draw is iffy on it's runners, but it's all there.
I'm after £120, no offers. It's in my ex-wifes garage so I can't do pics at the moment. Located in Bristol and available over the Christmas period.
I don't want to sound off, but don't ask me to list everything. If I could, I would. Just take my word for it, it all cost me a hell of a lot more than £120. A LOT more.
Chris

Flattered guys, truly am. Made my day that has. Still, no need for you to do that. Once these have gone I'll be able to muddle through. I'm just in a bad way at the minute, I'll be back on my feet in a few months. The moral fellas: Do. Not. Get. Married. Chris

Sorry to hear about this situation. I am new to retro rides and am looking for tools. But taking a mans tools is like taking his pride (was going to say woman - but after reading your thread, i guess you would rather i take her away ;-)).
I'm happy to put into the fund and carry on saving for some new tools.

The offer is still there mate . I an sure that if we get this into the General Section we could get at least 40 members offering £3 each so thats the £120 sorted. Either that or whoever buys the tools, offers to sell them back to you when you need them for the same price you sold them for

Yeah I could chuck a couple of quid in..... don't want to offend your pride or anything though. A guy must be in dire straights to go to those lenghts. (selling his tools I mean)
Selling your tools means no more working on cars, well not properly. Lets face it, your DEFFO gonna regret selling them if you do!

Gents, if there's a list, stick my name on it for a fiver. No self-respecting spanner wielder should be without his kit for whatever reason - it's not natural !!

Come on Chris, it's not about pride, it's about getting through mate. Get a PayPal address up, keep your tools and take something to bits. Went through a tough time myself a few years back, and ended up with sweet FA,if it weren't for the people that were there for me at the time, I wouldn't be here now - and now I've got 35 cars to play with!!!

same as the others mate, you can not sell your tools. it is so hard to replace what you had and they never feel the same.
put up the paypal bud and I will add to it too.
