Here we have a few stereo's guys! Other than the disc changer, the head unit's them selves have all come in mk1 polo's / golf's with original receipt of purchase which i no longer have as they went with the purchase recipt of the car when the cars got sold! But have a look! This one may not be uber old as it has a digi display, just love the flip down graphic equaliser!  Made by Sharp, model - RG -F882E FM/LW/MW, wires have been cut at some point but still enough there to wire in to something!   Panasonic - X2, both come in polo's from new I'm guessing as one of them had the receipt! BLAH BLAH BLAH! Panasonic 473 MKII  PYE Small tape deck, side mount holes so i guess its a kind of under the dash or in the glove box job! Id say rather old but not sure!  Kenwood Multi Changer with lead! 10 disc, KDC C603 Digi Pulse Axis Control, 1 BIT, 4 D/A Converter!  All 5er plus postage but not sure of postage costs! Probably between 6 - 10 pound depending on w[glow=red,2,300][/glow]hich one! |

yeah mate fully working was in a polo saloon that i had when i bought it but as i hit a few shows in it i had to put a cd player in and havent used it since!
As said above, the wires have been chopped but easily hard wired into a iso block ect

My Dad had the Pye one in his Hillman Avenger (when it wasnt cool). Excellent retro bit of kit.

i currently have this one in my std mk2 golf it works well sounds reasonable witht he std speakers as long as you don't push it! don't knock it till you've tried it |

i can vouch for that too,. had a panisonic in my polo when that was stock and it worked realy well. distorted less than my kenwood cd headunit |

oooo tempting as i need something for the mk1 Polo but am undecided whether the PYE tape player will be sufficient... was the pye one working ok? what wiring does it have?

the radio reception always seems better on old stereos. i prefer manual tuning knob too, speshly for finding pirate stations

Sharp one sold guys, both pye ones working fine, connecter is like a single version of iso! i will get a pic up of connector block!

I'm guessing due to the wieght dude it will be about a tenner posted, maybe even 14.99 though parcelforce as it is darn heavy!! And then what ever you want to donate for the unit itself bud! Money really isnt a big deal, just would rather it all goes to use! i have the lead for it too, and a spare lead too! |
