These threads cause bad atmosphere by curse word people off. It happened on VZi and a bunch of really good interesting people no longer post there. If you wanna have chat about stuff that isn't car related,.. you've got email. Or even better meet up at shows. |

To be honest I can actually see what Hotwire's talking about here. Now I'm ten times the insolent cheeky swine you are, and I have no doubt that I have much more of a problem with authority than you do.  ;D ;D But At the end of the day it's Hotwire that's running this place, and as far as I can see it's his good judgement that's kept this place going for more than a year now and is part of what makes this place what it is, so I really am going to have to agree with his judgement. I'm as guilty as any of posting all sorts of irrelevant sh*te round here, but when I'm wrong I'm man enough to apologise for it. I'm not getting at you, and I have nothing against you, but Hotwire isn't trying to stifle anyone's freedom of speech or cramp anyone's style here, he's trying to stop this place becoming some load of sh*te board where we all talk about all sorts of silly sh*t instead of motors and people end up fed up with wading through pages and pages of chatroom rubbish to get to the interesting threads, and end up going elsewhere. As I said, feel free to call me a hypocrite, or an idiot, or a b*stard, or whatever else I'm probably being at this moment in time, but I'm with Hotwire at the moment. |

ok maybe posting that on a topic about yog spillage wasnt the best idea iv ever had ;D. i agree with him on the yog spillage thread being totally stupid. its just that i don't want to see this forum go the way of other ones iv been on (where all off topic threads are deleted before theyve started and you don't know what oyur allowed to talk about anymore).
that said they are doing a good job so far. sorry if it seemed like i was trying to cause arguements or something.

Is this thread still going on?! Fuggin' ell! I'm with HoTWire on this too. MSN is for yacking about pointless dross, but Retro-Rides has a specific purpose and I for one don't want it to change  And I think we should give Hairnet a collective Kick up the  for starting it next time we see him ;D |
