na defo not me ..... wouldnt mind the wheels tho... they are the same as mine but with cokebottle hubcaps off a later pissrat. shame its got the passat front end too think they are sorta a mix of audi set up and vw btw .... sorta the same design as audi but using vw parts the later Passat sedan (after 84) and the chinese Santana have the Passat headlamps and bumpers; it's very popular over here to put on the Santana front on a Passat; the setup of the Santana/Passat B2 is 100% Audi at the front (Audi 80...), the rear is a Golf Mk.II beam with different shocks and bushings (so you can take a GTI 16V rear beam to convert do discs, if you want). The suspension design at the front looks similar to the Audi 100, but is not interchangable. In my opinion the longitudial design of the engine/box is well done, you have lots of space to work on the engine.... Lowering looks good btw, some tasty wheels and you are done. Love the look from behind, the Santana looks like a Quattroporte in a certain angle

I'm realy happy with this car. its got some lil niggly bits like gettin a bit tappy when hot but it has done 170,000 miles. or at least i think it has . thats one of the problems. i bought it with 170,000 ish on monday. now its got 172,000!!!!! how??? sware its clocking up to fast. i like the idea of the rear discs tho, but so far the stopping power of this thing has supprised me its pretty damn good..
think my next thing to do is stop the speedo cable clicking and get the exhaust to stop knocking on the beam then ill be a happy bunny. those are the only two things stopping it being a silent drive.

Was thinking that too at first. but it don't like speedbumps now,. to the point the centre box clamp grabs the thing low enough for me and it has settled a bit since that pic. cheers for the nice words too guys. I'm realy chuffed with the thing .... and ive only had it a week ;D

slight update gear knob wise 80's skateboard wheel that i had laying around ;D the inside of it with the bearings out leaves too much room so no way to tap it. or so i thought chemical metal to the rescue and a old bug gearstick (same thread size) in the vise, let it set slightly and turned it on, and then let it dry more and wound it off. then put it infront of a space heater to cure it completely and wa-la ;D
