I've always had the horn for Appliance Turbo Vecs (also sometimes sold under the Keystone branding) They are just such a classic design that just 'does it' for me. Even before I got my first set, I would draw cars with them on. I managed to buy some sorry looking 6 stud ones a few months ago , they had been painted over at least once and I have been getting them back to how they should look. Not sure what to put them on, but I just love looking at them so they can hang on my wall until I decide. They are 8.5 x 15 and they cost me £225 on Ebay in this manky state. First job was to get the paint off the spokes, then duct tape all the machined surfaces up, then get them shotblasted at a local place. Then it was more sanding and polishing of spokes, etch priming the wheels, but not wanting the primer off the machined areas, then spraying two coats of satin black, then getting the black off the shiny bits. I tried a couple of different procedures, using duct tape and also using thinners to remove the unwanted paint. Both worked well. Takes a while especially the polishing but the wheels are looking great. Done three, so nearly there. Centrecap is not original

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

I totally agree Datman, Turbovecs are one of my all-time favourite wheels. Great resto work on them, they look fantastic!

That's a great result you got...... glad to see the dog has taste too. OB has just picked up something very similar to these (if not the same) I can see these replacing the plastic things they use post-op as they're way cooler ;D

Might fit them to my Range Rover (which is now 6 stud) but the axles are already way wider than the originals so that might be taking the pee a bit (think 80s Cigar advert!)

Haven't I seen some Dattos with 6-stud conversions done on them? Surely I have, in those Garanchun links people post all the time.... yeah? If so, get these badboys slapped up on your F20 or B210 or Sunny Delight!!

lovely. I regret selling my 4x4" PCD ones, which were the 100+ Turbovanes version. I had nothing they would fit on, but meh.
I prefer the wider spaced spokes on the very similar "Vectors" although I guess it depends on the car they are going on.

By the way, if anyone wants Vectors, ARE brought those back into production to "commemorate" the new DOH Movie, a couple years ago. They have since reduced the sizes and PCD choices. Get them now, if you want a brand new set, before they discontinue them for the second (and final?) time.
