I suppose I wish I hadn't sold most of my cars, but I guess you can't keep them all. But... I these two stand out. '76 Mini Clubman - I had the nsf wheel come off on the motorway. My dad was too worried about me driving it again so to stop him worrying I sold it. Really, really was the worst decision ever. '78 Triumph Dolomite 1850 - Was my daily drive at the time and winter was kicking in. In the space of a week the salt and shat on the road was eatting it away so I sold it to get something more modern and rust proofed.

my Capri 2.8i it was a beaut, loads of others over the years, Granadas Executive Zodiac, XJ4.2, and a mixture of Imps, heralds, spitfire, loads of fords, I could be a millionair if i kept them, mind you i could go down the chalk pitt and dig up my Imp sport i buried a few years ago,

I had a mint mk1 fezza I sold because the wife hated it. Sold it to a mates brother cheap, who sold it on at a huge profit. It was in Retro Ford a couple of years ago, still mint. Why did I sell? Ratty Rover P5B Saloon. Great car, pretty tatty. Went very well and great fun. Sold for banger racing. It was rotten, but savable if you don't mind ratty Rovers!

Oh god... I wish I never...
Sold my Triumph Spitfire as I was poor and off to uni... £500 ouch..SDF 510N (on the road now according to DVLA) Blew up my Series 2 landrover (sump plug fell out at 60mph... big bang followed) did sell it for more than I paid for it though, and went to a nice chap to restore. Sold my 110 Landrover.. with tuned rover V8, LPG, Discovery gearbox and axles.. was good for 110mph at least (on a private road of course) Sold it back to its original owner and creator. Landrover Discovery... couldn't afford to weld the sill and had to raise cash for an engagement ring.. was most rust free example other than that I've ever seen, and low mileage too My 309 gti... 50k on it and sweet as a nut. Prt ex'd it for a Nissan 200 that got squashed by a HGV 3 weeks later. My Citroen XM 2lt turbo.. everything worked, low miles and such a nice drive. Drove it till the brakes siezed on (no pads left) then sold it. (it was a bargain at £50 though!) Damn I want them all back!!

1985 Toyota Celica Supra 2.8i, sold it after some scum broke into it and nicked the stereo, minus the faceplate!
1979 Toyota CROWN MS112 2.8 Super Saloon, sold to Tonymk2wagon on here many years ago to make room for the Cutlass, I really miss that car.

My 318iS I would have back like a shot. My '68 Land Rover, because it was so bloody handy to have around, my '93 Astra because a more reliable & dependable car has never been invented. I would also not have sold my mk1 escort to dick deluxe for 'a pittance'.... I would have kept it a few years and by now I'd be rich, rich I tell you!

Only three - my first car which was a mk1 Fiesta 1100 Popular Plus but was actually a re-shelled XR2 with a hot crossflow and a huge Weber; a '78 two-door Kadett which I had to sell when I lost my storage but which I had large plans for; and my fully-historied and not at all rotten mk3 Golf 16V. The ECU blew and it sat for ages on my driveway waiting for another to turn up. Eventually sold it for a few hundred quid and one turned up in my local scrappy a month later. Pulled the engine, box, loom and ECU out of it and dropped them in my mk2, but I still wish they could have gone in the mk3.
