as per 4 door is front wheel drive, and there not the same, nice cars imo though, bits for these arent too bad, place called speedy spares based in sussex cleared out the lintwood plant when talbot went bust, so they have a fair few parts at there disposal, i ordered those bits on the thursday expecting them on the monday, friday lunch time they were here. i should emagine the bits are easyer for the fwd one, but the local motorfactors just laughed at me when i said talbot sunbeam lol.. hope this helps!

Never even crossed my mind that it would be FWD but that's not a problem really. Have very, very little info on the car I've seen tbh. I've always liked the squareness of these but never see any over here - all used for rallying unfortunately!

Nice too see you`ve stuck with it and are making real progress with the beam, well done on the work so far and with the summer coming you it should`nt be that long before your out and about in it.

More work done today, got the engine and box out. dropped a bollock and didnt support the engine when removing the box. engine fell forward knackering an engine mount. bumhats. anyway, il let the pics do the talking 1600 powered ride on mower anyone ;D To the garage! to drain the oil After a bit of a soaking with the jizzer, not as good as i was led to belive its like rubbish brake cleaner good job it was only 3 and half quid removed the sump for an inspection. hasnt had an oil change in a while, looked like melted chocolate in the sump i also took the manifolds off, the one needs a stud drilling out after stevie wonder motor services have worked on it and a good excuse to renew the gasket. hopefully getting the engine down to work for a steam clean and some better degreaser then a lick of powder blue Also started getting the interoir out, one bolt on the passengers seat is being a pain. will attack with the grinder tomorow ;D Shineyyyyyy more soon x
