Seen this the last week stuck in a bush so decided to bring it home. Know nowt about BMX, is this any good? If not it will be parts for my mini bikes?  |

hold on a sec arent huffy bmx's quite up there with other old skool bikes. guessing by the brakes and pedals this things is rather old - rather than cheap-core Argos £99
90's freestyle bmx perhaps?

Huffy does make some ok bikes
That one looks ok
that one has sidepull calliper brakes.
so will be a low end bike.
As better bikes would have V or U brakes.
looks like its got 10mm axles too. Better to have 14mm
Still it means you can swap those bits to another frame.

yeah by modern standards it would be low end bike but i remember drooling over bikes in the bike shop like redlines and stuff like that in 1993 and there was no such thing as V or U brakes. V brakes didnt come about till around 1998. also the pedals look like the stuff of 90's.
i don't remember any modern type bmx's back then - they all looked like the one above.

There's also plenty of disc braked bikes around now that are pretty rubbish. |

how old is the bike then?
might say on the seat pin or the steerer tube of the forks.
judging by the frame design. The big rear dropouts. Thick tubing.
Its no older than mid 90s.
I think its a fine bike. would ride it myself.

its quite a modern huffy and bottom of the range sold in toys r us type place.cut it up of use it for parts. huffy do some alright ish bike if they are the very top end stuff but there nowt fantastic and don't have a wonderfull reputation if your a die hard bmx scene kid.

If anyone fitted 'V' brakes to a bmx they'd get a slap! AD990 the only way to go Bro! ;D

that bike is use nor ornament. cut up the frame and weld it into something else. tall bike etc.
