OK, I don't have any pics yet (will take some tomorrow) A Raleigh BMX turned up in one of the parcels we got in yesterday. Not sure what model yet but the frame is made of fairly thin oval tube. the frame is mostly white & the forks are blue, where they meet the bike is blue/yellow/red. It is sitting on white 7 spoke mag wheels. There is a piece of padding on the crossbar but nowhere else. Can anyone give my som advice on this scant info? should I put a bid in on it? I can't see it making that much money where I work. Sorry for the lack of details, I'm not really into bikes but this one looks cool.

Sounds like a Team Burner. some of the 1980s bikes can be worth quite a lot. they made some new ones recently.
theres a Burner forum. Could ask there

Sounds like a team Burner...probably an older one of it's got six rather than five spokes on it.

OK, A bit more info as I forgot to bring my camera home.
The Decals read Team Raleigh but no sign of Burner logos, the paint is fairly chipped, the stickers are all fubared & there is a bit of rust (nothing major) & it has a double crossbar of which one is padded.

Pics added.
I had a go at riding it round the barn (where I work) today but a combination of flat tyres & the flares I was wearing ensured I quickly fell off

its an original team burner replica (raleigh made them like this)
the differences are- team aero pro = tange framed better specced skyway wheeled top end bike.
Team Ruffell replica= A cheaper version of the team pro using a standaed MK2 frame and chrome bars and spoked wheels
Team replica (what you have) twin tube bars simplex or raliegh mags.
TAP25 (team aero pro 25 anniverery bike (as pictured above)
hope this helps.
get your self along to ralieghburner.com or burnerworld.co.uk or fee; free to ask if you have any other questions..

Damn I had an original Mag Burner, White with the black wheels and all... my parents threw it out in 2000... I got it new when I was a sprog.
Any idea what that would have been worth?
