I have had a smell in the Landy for several days and couldn't work it out. I spilt some oil in the back last week and it started off then, smelt like spilt oil so no worries. Problem got worse this week and changed and I started thinking that is not the smell of oil While looking for paperwork tonight i was in the truck and the smell was getting real bad I put my hand into the general mayhem that is the dash board cubby holes and..... Found a bag of sweetbreads(meat) that mum gave me sunday!!! So 4 days of sitting over the heater did not have a good effect on this and it was not nice picking it up and throwing it while trying not to chuck my guts up

A cat was once sick in down the scuttle of my 106. That was BAD.
I left my rucksack with damp, muddy clothes in (after cycling) in the boot of my car for about a month - the car smell wasn't that bad, but when I opened the bag!

i don't see why this would be locked, its not like its not car related, and some of the things that have gone bad in the back of my car could be classed as 'Retro' like the egg sandwich i forgot about in the boot of the panda, and it sat there for 4 months

Doomed? Well at least it is now. Nobody likes a Hat0r. Why post fricking lock pictures, what does it solve? It does my nut in. If you don't like it, don't post. Back on topic... I Once split coffee in my mums car on a Baking hot day... Never smelt the same again did that car, you never really can get the smell of curdled milk out of the carpets/sound deadening!

I left some pie and chips on the manifold of my FSO Polonez for a week or two. I used to put them there to keep them warm on the way home, and promptly forgot about them.

Well I left the keys in the ignition last night in a shift work induced coma. Nice to see it was still there at 5am - 3hrs sleep will do that to you though

Ex-wife left a water melon in the boot once. Didn't realise until it fermented to the extent that it burst! That sh*t went all over the boot and stank the whole car out.

the cadillac th400 trans that I picked up from ak fitted a treat into the boot of my sunny, until I came to close the hatch - so without thinking I yanked the dipstick tube out - and promptly dumped plenty of dextron 2 all over the boot (and a fair bit more came out on the way home...) the smell has remained - nice!

2 courgettes in a sandwich bag under the drivers seat off my civic
had been home to visit parents - my mum piled loads of food onto me to take home, which is always good
the cougettes escaped under the seat - i didnt realise until about 2 weeks later when, hunting for the source of the horrible smell emanating from the car, i put my hand under the seat, and my finger straight through the bag into a squidgy cold mess.
Really mank!

I rented an almost new Seat Leon a few months ago from Heathrow airport.
Was fine until a few miles later when a bit of a cheesy smell started wafting around the cabin. I actually started thinking it was my feet. Put up with it for a while until I couldn't bear it any longer. Pulled over to inspect. It wasn't my feet, but the stench seemed to get worse towards the rear of the car. So I opened the boot and bent down to move my cases around and almost stuck my nose straight into a pair of somone else's stinking socks they'd left on the parcel shelf.
I normally have a fairly iron constitution, but that nearly made me hurl on the spot.
Also, I do have a bit of a penchant for chees, y'know, proper ripe brie, stinking bishop, epoise, that kind of thing. That can be entertaining opening the door of a car that's had that in it for a few hours!!

Working on customers daily drivers you see all sorts of horrors and a dirty car is often an indication as to the character of the owner.. ;D ;D ;D Nothing worse than trying to find a air con fault in a car full of shytie disposable nappies and empty mc donald containers. How about the smell of dog urine .... One car was so bad that a co worker cleaned it and then shampooed the carpets and seats it was so nauseating. Aren't "sweet breads" testicles? ;D ;D ;D

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
