I won't mention the height (ah wooo egh this vertigo is getting to me) but those wheels should really be on a different car.

I'm still not sure about the AMG rims myself to be honest, much prefer some dish, but these and the tires were brand new bar the 40 miles they did on the car they came off and were cheaper than buying 4 new ones for the original steelies, happy to swop em for something more suitable but i cant be arsed to ebay them and then hunt for something else.

Changed the wheels back to the steels and sold the alloys again, i want something in a 15x8 i think with plenty of dish, been "mojo'd" by seeing the pics of the 560SEC's interior into getting on with mine, gonna have a measure up and pop down the carpet shop for some cream shagpile for the interior and the boot tomorrow if i get the chance.

Picked up a nice cream leather interior from an early 90's merc for the coupe today, cream carpet and floor mats included, seats are electric, even the head rest are powered. Should be able to have a go at getting it all into mine next week, make it nice and comfy and a bit posher in there while still keeping the character or my door trims and stuff. quick pic of the seats, should make the car a bit more comfy. img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/popuptoaster/Mercedes 280ce/leatherfrontseats.jpg[/IMG]

Love this car mate, reckon going for 15x8s in the wheels dept will go nicely, i assume you're slamming it?. Nice interior mods too, keep up the good work!

I want to fit it with airbags which is why i haven't bothered lowering it just yet, makes it easier to work on while its sky high. thought i'd get on with the wiring for my new interior this afternoon, but after looking at it for a bit i decided i need a whole day for it, i have to remove the seat controls from the door panels and work out where i'm gonna mount them, then run in some power from the fuse box and reconnect all this lot.
