just picked this up - 1990 QT50, bought it off eBay to see me through the winter. It's actually in a lot better condition than i'd thought it would be...
One owner until 2 years ago - original owners missus used it for local commuting for a few years & then it became an ornament in their front room for 10+ years! The guy i got it from bought it off the first owner 2 years ago, then used it daily for 18 months commuting to work & back. It looks as though it lived on his driveway, rather than being garaged. That might explain the rusty chrome - although with a bit of elbow grease it cleaning really well & has left virtually no pitting!
I've gotta finish checking it over & cleaning it up, then i'll take it for it's MOT. Did take around the block the other night & was impressed by it's turn of speed - really thought it was gonna be dangerously slow, but not so! 6V electrics & shaft drive, i'm loving it!
