Well, the Merc didn't pass the MOT as the exhaust manifold has a crack, Puppy is fixxing it, or getting it replaced, but I needed a car really quick, so had to forget about the Merc (at the moment anyway), and hae to hope no one else buys it, if they haven't already.
Shame, the Merc looked even better in flesh than pics.
But every cloud has a silver lining, so I'm told, and I now own a 1990 white VW Scirocco GT 1.8 with a great kenwood stereo, and weber, and K&N and all for less than £350 (it's really tidy too) as it needs a windscreen (£55 fitted thanks to a mate)
The car has the obligatory carb and filter, but also, as it's the late model, has the scala kit in body colour, which looks great, it's also lowered and stiffened by a few (40 or so) mm, so it looks great and handles really well.
Love it, but still want the Merc.
