2 strokes, 3 pots, 4 exhausts I presume? (the GT) lol, I'd have a look at that.. (don't want it, just to look, lol) I have a B100P and a CB500/4 stashed in similar circumstances

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Now that Honda is quite a find! Pleasingly retro Bike magazine sticker and all! I laid up my 400/4 for about 5 years and I was amazed to find that all that had happened to it during that time was the front brake had seized - and that turned out to be minor corrosion on the metal bit of the aftermarket pads (which are a tiny bit bigger than Honda ones) snagging the guide they sit in. I am glad that I own a 1970s bike. Enough power to be quick enough to be fun but a frame and suspension setup flawed enough for me to approach its limits. Modern bikes by comparison are just too good to be the same level of fun. What does provide the sobering moment is this: the likes of Barry Sheene raced the bikes of that era - but they did it on the rubber of that era. Fitting modern rubber to the 400/4 was like buying a new bike.
