Mods ,please move this if not in right area. thanks.
Having looked at various Honda 50/70/90's in other threads,was wondering how far you can go with modding one (eg remove leg shields ,strip to frame etc etc) while still leaving it MOT worthy,and police 'friendly' ?? Can you really make one look cool AND legal?

theres loads of things you can do to these, (i apologise if the next bit offends this forum ettiquette but I'm new) I also belong to another forum www.britchopper.co.uk and they are running a feature in their mag and online re these, there are quite a few mods they have done sorry link should work now |

as far as mot goes, you can almost swap the plates onto your super dooper mega stretch cb750 chop. not that thats really legal but some mot testers are like that. what you should worry about is what will send you to msva. its things like major alterations to the frame. ie. chopping the headstock angle, welding on a hardtail etc, etc,.  perfectly legal as its only had the original frame "added to". just a bracing top tube bar. it kinda needs it as its 13bhp 140cc now ;D  this is legal, and scarier than mine as its full of takegawa bits  this would be straight to msva over here. but its sooo achingly cool  I haven't been on britchopper for aaaaagges., and I've let my subscription lapse  must be more fiscally responsible. |
