Now they are on general release (cheers, BC) I was wondering what cars these stickers are being applied to, and why. So, Show me a picture, and say a few words why your car is an extended life vehicle. Here's mine. 1979 bedford chevanne, 91,465 miles, still in daily use. I would estimate the average lifespan of a white vauxhall van to be 10 - 15 years tops, so at 29, I think I've about doubled its life expectancy, and I have no plans to change it any time soon.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Great idea SOC. Picture didn't turn out but you can kinda see the outline. Its on my Van cos it should have been scrapped 18 months ago and wasn't making it quite recycled and green, it wil be fully reanimated in the future too. Will be getting one on my chicken chaser, which is 28 years old and survived a joyriding. i have a few other old heaps to stick em on, these stickers are a statement

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Mines still a youngster, but I guess its had an extended life here in the UK, reached 16 years and 60K in Japan. Unless it found a dedicated owner over there I gess it would of been broken. Now does 16K a year, 20 next year so I recon its a proper retro then.

heres one of each on my MG project I guess it's an extended life vehicle as i'm giving it an extended life - it lived in a damp garage for the last 20-odd years, hopefully it'll be on the road for the next 20 ... hopefully will give me a boost to get it going

I was going to put mine on my senator, but seeing as it hates me it would do something drastic in spite!
So I'm currently contemplating. Hoping to put it on Mk2 Carlton no. 2 seeing as that was saved from a barn, but its got a long way to go before it hits the road!

The only one I've installed so far. Bought it for £250 with tax & MOT but had a mouldy interior, puddles on the carpet, scary brakes and useless suspension (it was higher at the front, gasser style!). Would have probably made me a profit if I'd broken it for spares. Instead I spent money and time on it and now I think it's a great car. Slightly worn, as belies it's 25 years, but given a new lease of life and is my daily driver. Definitely an ELV.

On my 1971 camper. Considering that 15 months ago, it looked like this... it deserves it. I doubt many people would have bothered to save it, to be honest. It is my daily driver and regularly takes me from Bristol-Birmingham with no troubles whatsoever. Slow and tatty, but otherwise it's great I'm now working on the cosmetics of the thing...
