E. G - Brake disc backing plate rubbing on brake disc - sounds like terrible wheel bearing failure or a loose caliper/binding brakes. Fixed in 3 secs with a pair of pliers. post yours here.

Forgetting to remove mudflaps on seriously slammed car. Resultant scraping over speedbumps and around corners causes worry. Until you realise what it is!!

When the clip breaks that holds the guide tube for the handbrake cables on a Mk1 Golf, letting the tube flap loose and getting caught in the wheel... Sounds like the rear wheel is about to fall off, yet is easily fixed with a cable tie

Sounds like a dodgy oil level sensor. New mercs do it all the time, even if its 0.1 of a litre under max.

Intermittent bleeping and oil light flashing on three year old Caddy...dunno if it's serious yet I'll tell you in a few months. oil level.... the beeping happens over 2000rpm if the light is on. most likely a dodgy sensor but my G40 used to do it when exiting motorways on tight curving sliproads at 70mph.... accompanied by me crapping myself you've not put a rev counter instrument panel in a non-revcounter caddy have you? that'll make it do it too.
