Had look at this today in the metal and it is looking real nice. Certainly no room for a clutch pedal Hope you get it done for the Hot Rod drags will be cool seeing it on the track

OMG, my family has had LOADS of the A40 farinas,
I had a Black MK1, Mum had a Grey MK2, my brother had a turquoise MK2 countryman, and we had a few for bits
really interested in this project mate, will show my dad it as I'm sure he will be keen on the work going into it

Those wings were nasty... But who cares, fibreglass wings will be better anyway. They save weight, for... ehrm, less fuel consumption, which saves the planet and gives you better economy! ;D

glad to see your still bang at it heres a pic of my dads countryman hes gonna kill me as its not finished as planned(when are they ever) so he's gone to the nationals without it but he did tet drive it for the first time this week an he still smilin

Right, axle and front crossmember are bolted up now and they aint coming off! Glad its rolling now with all new nuts and bolts, and now the chassis is painted, it looks a treat. Standard HB springs are now on the crossmember which has given it some height! Pedals mounted and the new master cylinder came!!!! ;D The engine and box is going in tommorow! Once the full weight is in the car, we can look at the panhard rod, propshaft, and cuttin the rear springs so that the 4 bars sit nice and level with the car.
