After receiving my Bratz lowrider for 37 quid on ebay a few days ago, I quickly set about making it my own! The plans are: *Green banana seat with tall chrome sissy bar *Black paint with green pin-stripes *Black pedals and green grips *General tidy up with the chrome and whitewalls Then after a few changes to get the idea of what will look like: I then began to strip it down for painting. I used T-cut scratch remover to clean up the chrome and bathroom cleaner on the whitealls, it worked really well! More coming soon!

I was watching some Bratz on Ebay. One went for £16. But was in Yorkshire. To far away.
Geuss I could make my Puch into a low rider. But buying new bars, seat and sissy bar would end up expensive.

They are well nice! Thing is though, they are nearly what I paid for the bike! I'm trying to keep the budget down if I can as I would like the bike to be-able to be used and not have to worry about it too much! Any stuff like that I can get quite cheaply?

I had a look at the bike in the for sale page. Is a good looking bike. Probably fit me better than a lowrider. Bit out of my price range though.
This Bratz is good. like the stripping. I would have taken the seat clamp off. Its easier to paint the frame with out it. Only held on by a bit of weld. A BMX seat clamp goes on.

Thanks, glad you like it! Yeah, I was thinking about it but this is only a quick paint job. If I paint it again in the future I will take more off. It will do for cruisin the streets and shows for now though! Next small update is these! Just won these off ebay! Ex American casino dice. They are only used for a few hours and then sold on to avoid foul play. This is apparently the last pair of 'Hooters' ones so will be turned into dust caps!

wonder if you can get 20" tubes with the L bend valve stems like you get on smaller wheels. as it'll be dificult to get the fancy valve caps in between the spokes or even a pump nozzle you can get add on L bend valve things. from motorbike shops

I think it looks damn cool! Nice colour combo, liking the grips especially I reckon if it was me I might do the mudguards in green metalflake.... Chrome is good but I reckon you could afford to lose that bit of chrome in favout of more green-ness

Thanks Yes, I was thinking that as in the eBay description it said the chrome was bad. It cleaned up OK though so I left it, but it is still a possibility

i think green metal guards might too much green imo, what about getting busy with the tape again and doing some striping on the with green and black??
a metal flake chain guard would be cool, you could just lay out your vinyl letters, paint it green then lacquer over it with metal flake in the lacquer. thatd look cool
