Amazing! Mega respect for doing this massive project out in the elements! Never seen driveshaft shortening pics before, great to see how it's done! The end result looks ace Keep up the great work!

Great stuff. Love those driveshafts.
....reminds we of the good old days, rallye crossing old Audis and welding up broken driveshafts after every other race!

lol cheers guys ,well i had them welded in some angle iron ,then stick welded not mig,ground up good as new ,and stick is stronger then the driveshaft steel its self,,,,evern thown them in alathe ,,and I'm happy with them ,,,

Even sleeving them didn´t help much either.

ahh mate that is truly awsome stuff to behold... you are sowing seeds of naughtiness in my mind though.. you see I have this mk2 astra estate 2dr just sitting at work going mouldy............ only homemade nothing pornotastic as yet lol ,,anyone could do it ,,,do something crazy with it u know u want too lol

Where are you buying the exhaust bends from? Matt depends ,u can but them of ebay or most local steel suppliers have them ,,,these are mostly just odds and ends left over realy bud ,,,,but due to tight rooom probs this is the only way i could make it ,,grrr

so this will have to do again geuss work ,but it fits a treat i may just shortern the row of straight pipes down a inch ,, then trail fit on the caddy not bad for a first attempt lol
