Yeah I'd say you're getting that reaction from wallet-opening car owners who wish that they were tool box-opening car builders. By showing them your pace and skill set you shake their faith in the amount they're spending and the brand image they buy into. They're probably reassuring themselves en masse by flaming you with third-hand inaccurate technical know-how picked up from advertising brochures or their self-congratulating mates at the pub. Or they're all 15.
I can't remember if you've said where you're based Adaptorman, I'm going to need an exhaust manifold towards the end of the year and I'd love to leave it in your capable hands.

cheers guyd decided to fit the mk5 r32turbo , room is tight ,but i will make it fit... grrr didnt relise mk5 r32 clutch carnt be used on a 2.8 4motion solid flywheel , (differncernt depths) trail fitted few sensors added , my save a few lights flashing on the dash made as mutch free..ish room i could in the space i have left then hit a issiuse exhust carnt go under car, and trying to fit a large hx40 turbo on this manifold was a tw..t , but bit of modifying turbos fitted and made a new exhuast pipe finshed exhuast , just need wrapping tig welding coming on i reckon... fits good next made some custom alloy tubing and buzzed them up up to date , intercooler to finish off then start on the wireing to get the buggar runing .ps bit of advise how mutch boost will a 38mm hold on a r32 before boost creep? andany one have a ekta water piping daigram ,plus a 96 mk3 vr6 obd2 8pin wireing , as my other laptps gone down

well guys thought id let you all know , i thought id risk a dyno of the mk5 r32 t i asked the guy to add det cans as I'm sure my timing not right (i was so right too:))(thought saves loseing the engine) i attempted a 20psi run in 4wd at 7200prm , but due to timing and afr targets , i only managed a 4wd pull in 3rd gear at 13psi at 5000rpm 380whp :bh gutted but for no vvt and a trail diy , not bad , guy was impressed for a diy project and said this setup as a good potental for 500 plus:D he said what turbo have u got ,(i said well lol but of a home diy mix and match , )guy stated thats got some seroius pull lol, i said feels curse word tbh , my old 12v seems better responce from it ,, little dyno video here for you , stage 1 lol View My Videostage2 coming next :thumbs_up

up at 21psi of boost on a holset hx40 at mo with no issiuses , ive also just fully converted a mk4 polo with a vr6 ,in it then diy modifyed a full turbo , intercoolered , I'm tempted to get a garage and do it for a living , might be a bit dearer due to exspenses , but would any one be insrested , ill add a pic of conversion ive just done if anyone wants a veiw of it.

happy to see this is still going. my mate has just bought a mk4 polo VR6 (venom motorsport show car from late 90's) and i'm trying to persuade him to turbo it. I think you'd do well with your own business but probably best doing a few conversions and getting your name spread around, start making some custom things for people, inlets etc. maybe even a VR6 turbo kit

you sir are a legand, this has got to be one of the best builds iv ever seen, i love how you have done absolutly everthing, from custom made header tanks and home made head spacer plates, and the modified exhaust side on that turbo to make it spool quicker was just awesome. i can`t wait to see what you are going to do next.

I'd be very surprised if you could not make a living out of your skills, can you not try doing stuff from home to start with and see how it picks up
