Hello all, about time I posted my car up here I guess, and seeing as I'm whoring it about the forums tonight, now seems as good a time as any! Sooooooooooooo...... little background......... As bought.... Tracked... (cheers for the pic Mr Marsh!) Crashed.... Taken apart.... And rebuilt.... Still a MAJOR WIP. Lots to do! Hope you like.

Mega win! Absolutely loving it. Was this at Marham in April with "drift" down the side of the car?

Thanks for all the kind words! Its a bit of a shed really still needs LOADS doing to it. Heh I only got them because they were cheap (£35 for 4 17"s with tyres!) but people keep commenting on them. Shame they are currently on a 32mm spacer each side to they come close to sitting right with the arches! LOL It says "To punish and enslave..." although I like your thinking Robor.... as Matt says, thats the 'sister' car of Johnny A's, Ive still got some big numbers to go on the roof when I finish the white paint and matching Drift stickers for the sides. The gold stars going a bit bigger too when it gets redone. Steve...... yeah its been updated on Migweb. I got my mojo back in time to get this running for the VBOA show And to be deemed 'Mega Cool' by street is a high honor Like I said, thanks for the kind words, and its still got a lot of changing to do, and any suggestions welcome

I thought you would never get it back on the road, Mega respect mate for getting it sorted.
And i had NO idea that you were going to do this to it! You had talked about nato green etc, but this is soooo much better! it is an ex police car so very very apt!!
Looking forward to the ace cafe even more now! Need a hand with the seet base?
Lewis

Well, on the way to the Ace, my handbrake mechs kinda detached themselves, so while picking up my passenger we dismantled the offending drum and had a looksee..... Thats the pin that holds all the shoes and mech together basically! Lewis I nicked your pics matey! Anyways with the handbrake dismantled we rode to the Ace.... top night as already covered in the main forum Fave pic of night..... (Think Bodie&Doyle took this?!? Thanks to whoever it was!) Anyways, so tonight I finally got off my and repaired the handbrake, so while the rear end was in the air, I thought Id try out my shorter springs and shocks as I had some mega rake going on......... Heh sat pretty level, although it had just come off the jack! after a ride up the street and back I now have reverse rake LOL. It looks freakin awesome, time will tell how well it slides / drives like that, especially as all the roads round here are basically like green laning Ive had an idea that will tuck the exhaust further up in the body so thats top of the list, then I might chop the front springs a touch or add a lil extra height to the back (as those rears are mega high profile tyres and wont be staying!) Oh, do people think this car is RR Gathering worthy? as I want to buy a ticket but don't know if I should go for the showground or not. Still got loads to do it. Strip the interior properly for a start! Sorry about the pretty eventless update!

There's a mega amount of negative camber now that you've lowered the back, that might not help you with drifting - you want less grip at the back in corners and negative camber gives you slightly more grip.
IIRC The LC was jacked up at the rear slightly from standard because they found that it handled better higher rather than lower.
When I have my back end that low (probably lower than that actually) it just shredded tyres on the inside edge like mad.
You can actually get a set of bushes to correct the camber from Pedders in Australia - they are excentric (sp) bushes that allow you to adjust the camber and toe on a Commodore (same rear K frame as a senator). I'll ask how much they are if you want.
