Slight change of plans... The Mazda, whilst it looks cool with vitually no suspension, it really is horrible when driven enthusiastically. I'd rather not spend any money on the suspension until the MX5 donor car comes along. So, please change my trackday weapon of choice to my Lowrider. No sniggering at the back there... - It's fast (5.0 v8)
- It goes around corners as good as any other 2.5 tonne lump of metal/plastic/leather
- I have a spare set of wheels/tyres
- I can entertain the masses with some hopping in the pit lane
- note to self: must disconnect switches before enterng track
- Just need to save for petrol
- Lots of petrol
Ian - car details - Mercedes S500, Silver, reg A10WUN. Cheers. Aux: Be afraid! Let the battle of the luxo barges commence...

Aux: Be afraid! Let the battle of the luxo barges commence... Hmm you may have a litre more, but I am lighter, plus I don't have all that pump and battery nonsense in the boot Ian: dark green Lexus Ls400 - G96NCL Just need to scavenge some spare wheels

Details updated - one understandable drop out so on the basis that I've told the organisers I've exceeded the spaces allocated by one I can keep that space - anyone else want to come?

I have to say I'm tempted. I could bring the Cadillac, at least then Utterpiffle wouldn't have the worst-handling car on the track. Will discuss tonight, if I make it.

Its 57mph top speed might be a bit of a handicap down the straights, but I reckon it'd be better through the corners than the Cadillac.

Only a week to go people, I'm getting very exicited again ;D
A quick question. Does anyone think my cars lack of inner door frames will cause a problem. It wasnt an issue on the mot but seeing as it doesnt have a roll cage some might say it doesnt have a lot of side impact protection. I could always weld a couple of lenths of box across the openings if it would make things easier.
