The clear indicators are for a renault 19 16v ph1. They are quite hard to find now, i recently bought a set off ebay germany though.
In other news, went to france and belgium in the van at the end of may. Gearbox expired at london on the way home, 4th gear lunched itself so had to limp it home. Box swap on the horizon soon.

I love this van lots  Could you provide my with a little bit of info only an owner could provide? What size are the pipes / spigots to and from the header tank / swirl pot? and What is the height / diameter of it? I am thinking of using one on my celica as a charge cooler header tank  Are you going to be at RRG? Keep it up! J |

Didn't see the reply, I can find out what sizes the outlets are if needs be Blew up the gearbox with a bang on the way back from france so bought a £20 ebay spacial Engine out to fit - heat wrap scorched - now removed  All back together  Took it to the Rtoc rolling road day at Efi-Parts last weekend -232hp @22lbs boost   Vid on the rollers |

Just read this from the start, don't know how iv missed it till now. I had one of these years ago and thought of doing this engine swap but to be honest my van wasn't good enough lol! Quick vans are the business though so I ended up putting a red top in to a mk3 astra van. There is nothing like seeing the face of "fast car " drivers as you scream past them! I'm trying to build up something similar with my Extra van (or as it was called here in Spain; Express), Now I'm working on the handling/stance so I'm looking for some gtt phase I shocks + lowered springs (as they have straight upper strut mounts with no camber like the phase II are), but I have a question, Is it just plug and play or did you changed all the lower arm control, spindle, brakes... from a gtt? Sorry for my english  and thanks in advantage. Keep it up!! |

Sorry for my english and thanks in advantage. Keep it up!! Cheers mate The hubs were different on my van as it was a diesel, so i had to fit gtt hubs to allow the gtt shockers to fit. The lower arms and the other bits are identical to gtt parts so you will have no problems there. The van brakes are different to gtt but it all fits ok. You can fit gtt springs to the original van shocks. Id one this for a year or so, was fine |

Thanks for the info mate!  Mine is also diesel right now, the problem is that there aren't gtt s in the junkyards around my city, there is just a clio 16v, I've read that are the same hubs; brakes than the gtt ones, and also the rear axle is plug n play and makes her wider, right?? If I changed the hubs, Would I have to change the brake system, (calipers, discs...)? |

The clio hubs and that will fit, you may need to mod the struts to get the camber correct. Worth fitting the brakes whilst your on with it, the clio 16v discs are bigger than gtt so 14" wheels minimum. I still use the drum rear beam, any wider and arch mods may be necessary. The van beam is more than good enough |

Few things done over last couple of days. Insurance renewal bein one of them at £220 sheets for the year not too bad? First things first - repairs  Old window rubbers were totally knackered - scored a set off a 5 door campus for free. New from renault £100 a side sir  And fitted  Intercooler was looking a bit battered so 2 tins of poundshop matt black sorted that - pmt win. Black hoses coming soon for full on sleeper.   |
