It is Dan Bensteads, the ed of PGTi, the set release date will be Bruntinfthorpe on Sunday for the French Car Show, it used to be a plain jane white example on those Ronals, should look top tog when its finished. Should of had a tan leather retrim too Dan? The next mag comes out on Sunday at the show or 2nd June, it isn't all boy racer, its aimed performance focused, you won't see any kitted 1.1's, there is so much variety, its top! e.g. last month they had an R8 Gordini, 205 Group B a few months before... Do yourselves a favour and check it out, I helped out with a lot of it this month. If anyone wants to buy an XSi, there is a 6 pager I've put together for this issue  |

TaitRacing, the car has no interior in it at all at the moment - apparently the seats are off being re-trimed in a burnt orange colour, which will hopefully look better than it sounds. The rest of the interior is being trimmed by my mates as part of the stereo installation in beige and said orange colour. I'd be very suprised if it makes it to the French car day - my freinds only got the car this Tuesday, and there would appear to be quite a few finishing touches required beyond fitting all the stereo  I must admit seeing the car gets me excited as it reminds me of the days when me and my mates hankered after cars like the Renault 5 GTT, and this one follows the less-is-more philosophy which was the more 'mainstream' style at the time  I think if I was offered now, a stock met grey GTT in excellent condition (rare I know) I think I'd find it difficult to resist |

I was at unity media full time for a month because pgti's deadline got cut 3 weeks short, there is only 1 bloke, Dan, that runs it at the moment, huge effort! Whilst I was there I done all the regular sections, news, products, ice, classifieds, clubs etc, a company profile on euro car parts and the xsi buying guide. Back to doing freelance bits and pieces now  I might be doing stuff for Track and Race Car, Cockney Rebel should be going into the next issue. Yeah I'll get some pictures, thats if I get the tickets to go! Dan, yeah R5's Turbs are great, I've always rated them, especially when they are done Euro style. I know of one for sale if you are interested, standard exterior in glacier white running about 200bhp. |

Just a couple of pictures I took the other day of the Renault 5 in question - there are a few dodgy bits on it that I wouldn't have done if it were mine - like the flushed tailgate, bad boy bonnet and I wouldn't have bothered with any plush stereo install or polished roll cage, but the general look of the car I think is pretty effective   P.S; a few elements of the car are not yet finished, like something to infill the vents in the front bumper & much of the interior needs finishing. |

Round my way chavs have money, they all work in telephone sales and spend all thier cash on thier cars.
The only bit I like on that 5 is the wheels, The rest is chav junk
