Nice work, i was watching them for my benz, i might even have chucked a bid on, i cant remember. Glad they found a good home.
Going to look the business.
Would it be possible to remove the rivets on the rears, and reverse rim them?

nice one, after our conversation the other day I almsot feel partially resonsible for your road trip "fun". I think those wheels on the Daimler are a variation on the old US Wheel Pro Mods (which were less smoothed) I think they may be Centerline's version? these are gong to look the nuts anyway

Markbognor - I got outbid by a guy in Germany, but due to the seller's confusion (I think he thought he had to pay the postage difference himself or something...) he offered them to me. So before he could realise his error I was off down to Dorset ;D They're actually one-piece rims (the rivets are just decorative) so I can't reverse-rim them, although that would look awesome!
AK - Well, you did nothing to dissuade me from Centerlines so I suppose you're slightly responsible! ;D It was a good lark, and cost the same in petrol as it would to courier them.
I need to see what kind of offset issues I'm going to have. The box says ET 5, Midland Wheels website says ET 15, and there's nothing stamped on the rim. I'll just have to fit them and see.
Still, they're 15x5.5 so I should have some kind of scrubline which means I won't die. And they're narrow enough not to worry the inner arches at the front.
Just need to get polishing...

Nice wheels Dean, There wasn´t any confusion with the buyer as I was taking care of the translation for him. The seller was just a pratt. (Sorry, I'm a Tw*t,I have sold the wheels to the other bidder. Ididnt think youd want to pay 42.00 postage. You can leave what feedback you feel necassary. have good access to used new/VW wheels and I'l send you confirmation when I get Centerlines, thats not a problem I'l deliver them to addresse uk.? And the postage wasn´t an issue, he just didn´t get a chance even though he was communucating through me and had had several mails saying payment was not a problem. Mike had even payed via Paypal evenbefore you´d picked them up and he´s not a happy "Teddybear"! Definately an iffy seller, i´m not surprised you´re all peesed off with eBay over there> ...not your fault though mate and glad they went to a good home.

Wow, now I feel bad . I didn't mean to gazump anyone - after the auction finished I emailed the seller saying if the deal fell through, I'd buy them. Next day I got a second chance offer with a message saying something about not wanting to post to Germany. Didn't realise until I met the seller that he was all mixed up about the postage. He was an ebay n00b... don't think he knew what he was doing. I half expected him to have sold the wheels to someone else by the time we'd got there. Sorry for that Mike, I don't feel good at all now!

If I ever get the right car in the right stud pattern, I reckon 15x10 and 15x12 centerline autodrags with mega stretch would look awesome. Matt
